My hope or vision in my lifetime is to get everyone to realize we are all in this world together as a whole and we should be looking out for each other and our well-being because it benefits us all. The biggest enemy isn't someone who disagrees with your opinion, or your neighbor who doesn't like the way you trim your hedges, or even your former high school bully: it's what threatens our humanity's and resource's existence such as diseases, climate crisis, and other potential external disasters.

Julie, not only did you wow me with your hope and vision statement, but you surprised me with your classroom introduction to environmental personhood. You've already brought awareness to the classroom pertaining to social and environmental causes and I can't wait to see what environmental cause you apply your designs to.

DeleteHello Julie! it was nice to get to know you! I was really curious about your time studying abroad. I like the pictures you presented. Da vinci stood out to me, most . of his designs were based from nature and that is something I'd like to explore.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I get the time, I'll share some of the work I saw at a museum in Rome! They're not the real deal of course (cause those are hidden away in high security basements being auctioned off for millions...!) but they were great to interact with.

ReplyDeleteYes! I don't think I conveyed myself very well in that 1 minute speedy session. I was trying to say I do my best to make the world wholesome and better even if someone disagrees with me. I have killed with kindness before and I'll do it again!
